Finance
for the non-financial Manager
Course Ref: FO1
Should I attend this course?
Cash flow, budgets, balance sheets and financial ratios can
sound like baffling terms, yet an understanding of finance
is at the heart of effective management, and all managers
will benefit from learning more about this subject.
In this course we de-mystify the jargon of finance, helping
you understand how applying the concepts of financial and
management accounting can help you to make the right decisions
and maximise your returns. You will learn the meanings of
the key finance statements, how they work, how they relate
to each other, and how your own actions as a manager affect
them.
Although we focus on theory, this is a highly interactive
and practical course. You will have the opportunity to join
with other managers, to share ideas and experiences, and to
learn through examples, discussions and exercises.
